Two of my favourite aircraft:

I owned Yakolev 55m G-NOIZ for 10 years after importing it into the UK and having it restored and modernised - The Yak55m is a nimble and strong single seater powered with a 360HP radial engine. I flew G-NOIZ in advanced level competitions, and some displays, and adored its unique character and strength.

I bought a share of the Extra ea300 G-SIII in 2009 and, on balance, its my number one favourite with sparkling performance, manoeuvrability, handling, robust engineering, comfort and speed. This 1994 aircraft is a classic and the only thing I’d consider replacing it with is the current 330LX or the new 330NG.

As an aerobatic pilot I’ve been lucky to fly some great aircraft - these two are so special.
