“The journey” - the distant goal of happiness through a jagged adversityscape.. I painted this is a colour theme I’d researched from ancient cave paintings recently discovered in France. Our ancestral early homo-sapiens had sought to explain their memories and experiences using ochre and ash with their fingers.
