A Tyrannosaurus-rex and a Alectrosaurus come together on a game trail close to a watering hole next to a wooded area in the late Cretaceous period. The T-rex is everyone's favourite apex predator and recent research has suggested that it may have grown substantially larger than we thought given recent discoveries in Asia. The Alectrosaurus is a smaller animal but was a very swift, effective and deadly hunter through this period.

This painting was commissioned by my three year old grand-daughter for her bedroom - who could say no !
